Call for Papers
The Petersen Asphalt Research Conference welcomes presentations of current
asphalt research results from fundamental and applied science studies. LCD
projector will be available for presenters.
Topics of Interest
Past topics have included:
- Composition and reactivity of asphalt
- Composition and physical property relationships
- Specification, testing and instrumentation
- Asphalt–aggregate interactions
- Moisture damage
- Low-temperature behavior
- Asphalt modification
- Synthetic asphalt
- Predicting asphalt pavement performance
- Field trials
- Forensic Studies.
Submission Period
The deadline for submission is May 11, 2010. We’ll let you know by May
30 if your presentation is selected for the program. Please don’t forget
to register for the conference—submitting an abstract doesn’t automatically
register you for the conference.
Distribution
Your conference abstract will be included with the Petersen Asphalt Research
Conference program. We don’t publish papers, but if you want your paper
distributed at the conference, provide copies to the registration staff, and
they will assist with distribution.
Submitting an Abstract
Your abstract should be a maximum of 200 words and present a clear and concise
statement of the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the research.
You may submit your abstract online by filling out the form below and clicking
submit buttom at the bottom, but if you prefer to mail or e-mail,your abstract,
use either the PDF format or MS
Word.
