Pilot Hill Hike - Thursday, July 18, 2:00

Join Pilot Hill Ambassadors for a gentle hike on this unique open space area that connects the city of Laramie to the Medicine Bow National Forest. The hike will be on a Universally Accessible Trail (easy grade and aggregate path) that offers spectacular views of Laramie and the Never Summer Range, Snowy Range, and Elk Mountain to the West. The hike will be just over 2 miles in distance and will include a bit of history on the unique Pilot Hill collaboration and the unique geologic and aquifer protection aspects of the property.

For a map and brochure of the area, see the Visit Laramie table during the conference. We will meet in the Conference Center Lobby near the north entrance and carpool to the Kiosk at the east end of Willett Drive (less than a mile from the Conference Center). Please wear closed-toe shoes and a hat and bring a jacket in case the weather changes. We will have sunscreen and bug spray to share and will also provide water bottles if you do not have one. See https://pilothill.org/ for more information on the area.

Extend your stay and attend the Daddy of 'Em All, Cheyenne Frontier Days July 19-28, 2024.
